About Chef Kevin
What Sets Us Apart

At the heart of ¡TapaVino! is Chef Kevin Comellas, whose culinary journey bridges the bold, sun-soaked flavors of Spain with the soulful warmth of his Cuban heritage. Inspired by the vibrant tapas culture of Barcelona, Chef Kevin brings an authentic Mediterranean spirit to Worcester, crafting dishes that celebrate both tradition and creativity. Before founding ¡TapaVino!, he honed his craft as Executive Chef at Havana Nights, where his mastery of Cuban cuisine earned him acclaim for blending classic comfort with refined technique. Kevin also spent eight years as Corporate Executive Chef at Rebecca's Culinary Group—the largest catering company in Massachusetts, headquartered in Boston—where he led culinary innovation for corporate and private events across New England. Today, Chef Kevin continues to share his passion for bold flavors, fresh ingredients, and the joy of gathering around the table—one plate at a time.
